I believe in capturing the moments that are lost in the blink of an eye, the moments that are gone forever. I am a firm believer in Existing in Photos for our children. I am passionate about photographing newborns “....Because they are only this little once.” Hi I am Ali Jones and I absolutely love what i create for each and every one of my clients. I am inspired by my family & my two boys Luke & Benjamin. We moved to the beautiful Hunter Valley NSW in December, 2023 and previous to this we have been on the Central Coast, Coffs Harbour since 2013, after a 7 year stint in Central Queensland. I am originally from Newcastle, but am so happy to be closer to family again while living in the Valley. I have been a photographer for 17 years, and currently capture memories by appointment only.  My love for photography was there since i was a child, however it wasn’t until 2005 when I became a mother that I knew this was a path i wanted to follow. In 2006 I bought my first DSLR and knew ‘I had to learn to use it'. So in 2007 I started portfolio building and in 2008 I did my first paid session. For the first 6.5 years I specialised in family portraiture. There is something beautiful & completely special about families, their love, laughs and interaction. If we are blessed to have a family, we should capture & cherish those moments.

In 2012 I found the love for newborn portraiture & knew I wanted to specialise in this field along side families. It wasn’t until late 2013 when i decided to pursue this side of the business after having my second son, Benjamin. I have attended several workshops with Australian & International newborn photographers; Kelly Brown, Erin Elizabeth, Erin Tole, Rachel Vanoven, Winnie & Mini Photography, Luisa Dunn, Robyn Long and many more. Each year i continue to invest in my education as a photographer. I am a firm believer in Newborn Safety and can promise i will never do anything to put your baby at any risk.

My studio is located in the Hunter Valley NSW. My purpose built studio includes; the comfort of the bedroom studio, this is perfect for capturing your family just as they are, just as they play, just as they giggle and interact and i want to capture those moments forever for you. I also offer posed photography but with a very natural feel. I specialise in Maternity, Newborn and Family portraiture. I am available for outdoor family sessions now.
