Meeting Matilda | Hunter Valley & Newcastle Newborn Photographer
Meeting baby Matilda was an absolute delight! Her beautiful dark hair and delicate newborn features made every shot a joy to capture. Matilda was such a good baby throughout the session, allowing us to take our time and get those precious images that families treasure forever.
But it wasn't just Matilda who made the day memorable; her mum brought a fantastic sense of humor that kept us all laughing! Her light-heartedness added to the warm atmosphere in the studio, making it a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Moments like these remind me why I love my job so much—capturing the beauty of new life and the joy that comes with it, all while sharing laughs and creating lasting memories. I can’t wait to see Matilda grow and to capture many more beautiful moments in the future!
Happy Mothers Day
Being a mum is my biggest achievement.
I have two boys; Luke and Benjamin, aged 17 & 9. They both have the biggest of hearts and still love a cuddle from mum! While being a mum can be difficult at times, it is still so rewarding. I am also a mum of 8 babies in heaven, which are never far from my thoughts and the loss has shaped me into who I am today!
In December we relocated to the Central Coast NSW from Coffs Harbour. My family are in Lake Macquarie and Sydney and after 16 years of living away, it is so nice to celebrate this mothers day with my mum and my sister and our families.
During COVID, life got put into perspective. My dad was having cancer treatment and being able to see him or my mum became a risk and during lockdown, just not possible. It was time to move closer to my biggest supporters, the mother that birthed me and raised me with love and tenderness and my dad whom i am quite fond of too…lol
I have a firm belief that we must exist in photos for our children. I know i am guilty of this…there are years gaps in images with my kids, this year that changes. We have booked a session with a photographer for the end of may! My goal is to do this every year now so that i have images for our story as a family!
